Eva Moskowitz shows the world what Success Academy students do all day
Success Academy is the largest charter school network in New York and currently the most successful. It operates 41 schools, with three more set to open in the next year, and educates over 14,000 New York children.
The Academy was started by Eva Moskowitz, the CEO of Success Academy, and a former educator who saw how poorly the city’s education system was doing in educating its children. So she started her own charter school network to improve on it.
Eleven years later, and Eva Moskowitz and her Success Academy are known around the country as just about the most high-profile examples of how a good education system for every child is possible.
While Eva Moskowitz has been successful with Success Academy, however, people have often asked how are their students able to get such high test scores and what do they do all day?
In a new project just launched, Eva Moskowitz intends to answer those questions once and for all.
The project is called Education Institute, and is an online platform that allows educators from all over the country to access the Academy’s curriculum and teaching materials and see exactly what Success Academy students do all day.
As Eva Moskowitz believes every educator should have access to the best resources if they are to teach their students well, she is also making all of the information completely free to any educator that wants it.
To get access to Education Institute, familiarly known as Ed Institute, educators simply have to sign up for it on the Success Academy website.
They will then be able to access any of the Academy’s curriculum and educational materials, as well as new materials that will go up all the time.
After all, if every child in America cannot currently be accepted at a Success Academy school, then Eva Moskowitz surmises why not take the school and its education system to them?
